Over the past few months, we have been seeking feedback from clients and members about what supports and services they would like from Muscular Dystrophy South Australia. Our Client Services Team is looking at the information and using it as a basis for service planning.
We have found that a few people asked about services to assist people create a will to make sure their assets are protected and their family needs considered. They also mentioned that in many instances it is very difficult to access corporate offices to meet the correct people.
Individuals should contact their legal advisor for these matters. Muscular Dystrophy South Australia has responded to member requests to source possible advisors. Muscular Dystrophy SA is not in a position to endorse or represent sources. We can make details available for members to decide for themselves.
We have been able to source some service providers to assist clients and members establish their wills. These services will come to the person’s home to discuss matters such as;
- Powers of Attorney
- Advance Care Directives
- Anticipatory Directions
- Deceased Estates including probate applications, estate administration and estate disputes.
